Antonia Wimbush is a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultures at the University of Liverpool. Her project analyses cultural responses to post-war migration from the French Caribbean to metropolitan France. Her first monograph, Autofiction: A Female Francophone Aesthetic of Exile, is forthcoming with Liverpool University Press. She has published articles in journals including International Journal of Francophone Studies and Journal of Romance Studies. She is a co-editor of Queer(y)ing Bodily Norms in Francophone Culture, forthcoming with Peter Lang.
