Sarah Simpson

Sarah Simpson recently completed a Masters by Research in Hispanic Studies at the University of Edinburgh and holds a BA in Spanish from the University of Oxford. Her Masters research was centred around the short story in Latin America, particularly women authors whose work falls within the fantastic and related genres. She plans to undertake a PhD examining the constructed categorisation of so-called ‘lesbian literature’, in particular in the work of Caribbean writers Yolanda Arroyo Pizarro, Ena Lucía Portela, and Rita Indiana.
